This coastal wilderness on Newfoundland’s west coast was carved by glaciers. It is famed for its towering fjords and ancient geological formations. A UNESCO World Heritage site, this park offers a rare glimpse into the Earth’s mantle at the Tablelands, where exposed rock dates back nearly a billion years. The deep waters here support diverse marine life, like whales and puffins.
